Sorry followers, I’m a terrible blog runner. Life has been a bit hectic for me, but here’s part two! I’m going to be covering one of my favorite types of shoes, the chukka boot/desert boot.

I have an anon who is looking for a new style of shoe to wear to work besides flats. Her work place is business casual and she’s on her feet a lot. She also didn’t want the shoes to be too masculine. Again, since we all have differing ideas of what is masculine and feminine, I tried to collect a range of styles.

Chukka boots/Desert boots: Most would consider these a much more manlier type of shoe. I love them though, even though I don’t own a pair yet :(. Again, changing the color or the fabric can give the shoe a much more feminine vibe. Oxford shoes can sometimes look pretty similar to chukka boots, but I’m going to be covering those in the next part! I tried to have a range of classic chukka boots to some unique variations, such as heels or cut outs. Again, some of these shoes are crazy expensive, but you can usually fine cheaper alternatives. Clarks always seems to have a great range of desert boots for women in terms of styles, fabrics, and colors.
